White Collar is one of the hardest shows to write reviews for simply because there's not much to say about it. Every episode is pretty much the same with few variations, so I say the same things every week. Dialogue was good, the episode was lots of fun, and the case was kind of boring.
I think that goes to the fundamental problem with the show. The shows uses tricks and undercover operations to draw the viewers in. There's rarely any action and the crimes are all about conning stupid thieves. The chemistry between Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay keep the show interesting.
Last night the episode was about donating for organs and a big cabal of doctors and charities. June's daughter gets back on the transplant list with the help of Neal, and everyone is happy. I still don't understand how Neal can bring up a case and get Peter to jump on it immediately. Doesn't Peter have bigger issues than Neal?
The best part of the episode was Peter having to flirt with a woman. Elizabeth, being the cool person she is, actually laughs when she learns of this. But she's not completely happy with anything her husband does. At the mention of "magic hands," she becomes upset. Peter makes it up to her in a sweet scene and they're happy. The moral of the story is that everyone is happy. It's a happy show. (Yes I used happy four.)
Score: 8.9/10
