How to recognize an April Fools' joke

Yesterday was April Fools' and I made two outrageous posts. Unfortunately, some people--I kid you not--thought they were real stories after reading everything, not just the titles. I tried to be obvious about it being a joke and at the same time maintaining some believability with the prose. I guess that didn't work, so I'll break down everything that should have tipped off confused readers. Is it that hard?

Season 9 of NCIS will be its final season

1. Michael Ausiello's link. It's a freaking picture of a donkey, a not so subtle jab at Ausiello.
2. THE ENTIRE NINA TASSLER QUOTE. JAG going obviously didn't go out on top. Then she goes on recommending shows that aren't even real. CBS is going to milk NCIS until it is dry, and with the current ratings, they'd never let Season 9 be the final season unless the ratings crash.

Bones/House foursome?!?!?!

1. Both links to the source. They're pictures of Andy Dick!!!
2. The entire idea. Remember the outrage over the Gossip Girl threesome? A foursome would spark outrage among the crazies and the fans.
3. Michaela Conlin and Jesse Spencer switching shows. Duh.
