With Michael you never know what's going on in his brain. If we take his actions at face value, Michael would be a total douche. If we assume that Michael is an oblivious morons, his actions aren't so bad. The problem is, Michael goes from being normal to crazy from episode to episode. He may be the voice of reason or the voice of complete insanity. Is he a bad person or deficient mentally? The writers are never clear., but it's hard not to despise Michael these days.
I don't know why the writers dragged on the relationship between Michael and Donna for another episode, because it was a slog of Michael being stupid and mean. I don't want to see that. I also don't want to see any more of the weird contractual sex/baby business between Dwight and Angela. It's far too surreal to take seriously and only funny when Dwight is doing something silly.
Pam and Jim have a lack of sleep, but they're tired... It seems like the writers plugged in a few extra minutes with Pam and Jim yawning and wanting to sleep.
The good news is that reporters show up to ask Michael about the Sabre printers catching on fire. I hope this arc works better than the rest this season.
