Other than the new, uninteresting ownership by Sabre and the budding romance between Andy and Erin, the story this season has been largely stagnant. Last year, there was the terrific Michael Scott Paper Company, but there has been absolutely nothing this season. With most of the season over already, it's doubtful something an interesting arc will happen.
"New Leads" tried to work on the humor in the office by pitting the sales staff against everyone else. Sabre's devotion to sales and huge commissions leads to tension among the staff. Evidently, sales staff are acting entitled and finally Michael takes drastic action. He hides the leads for a scavenger hunt, preventing the sales people from earning any more money until they jump through all these hoops. The leads get thrown in the trash and taken to the dumpster.
The divide between Michael and Dwight, which has grown substantially since the first season, blows up. At the landfill, they express their feelings and start attacking each other with trash. They get tired and end up coming back to the office with a beanbag chair. The sales people and everyone else at the office compromise, and everything is back to what they considered normal for them.
Andy and Erin continued their weird thing with Andy thinking about grabbing Erin's breasts (as part of the scavenger hunt). They're at the landfill at the end of the episode, and they kiss for the first time. Congrats I guess.
