Barney and Robin broke up quickly after a season of pining and a few episodes being together. It was unexpected and disappointing, but the show went on with good episodes. Finally, there's a resolution of sorts to their relationship. While I suspect their thing isn't over yet, "Of Course" was good enough for now.
Robin gets backs at Barney by employing Anita (Jennifer Lopez) to continually say no to him. Barney doesn't take no from anyone and sets out to sleep with her. Lopez was quite good in the role, and had some great lines that made Barney want her even more.
We learn that Robin has been crying whenever Barney or someone else gloats over Barney's conquests. They sing a catchy song, and it's obnoxious and mean when you see what Robin has been going through. He talks to her, and agrees not to sleep with Anita. He sends her off on a big date with Don, which has a happy ending. Barney then says no to Anita who only wants to sleep with Barney more. Barney ends up not sleeping with Anita. Barney doesn't act like this each episode, and will probably revert back in the next, but we'll take what we can get.
