I was about to get the "next ticket out," for the show, but then the final five minutes came. The writers brought the show back from the brink, and in one fell swoop, had me loving the show once more. Bill stands behind Barb during the interview, Sarah shows up, and then the family is all together at Teenie's birthday party. Although the rest of the episode didn't advance the story, and just increased the tension for the pending craziness next week, the writing and acting was on point for those brief moments. It didn't made the episode good, but at least my faith is there for next season. The season finale will probably be a mess, so I'm not even banking on that.
The show so complex, there's so much going on, and I don't have much time with all the shows coming back today, so I'll probably have another short review. If I could stand all the ludicrous stories, I would have the desire to write more. There is so much depth to the show, so I'll refer you to Todd VanDerWerff's review. He, thankfully, is a great writer and likes the plot.
