Review - The Good Wife Season 1 Episode 16 Fleas

When shows try to be "hip" by throwing in references to the latest internet craze, it's a bit annoying and sometimes awkwardly done. With the blogging on House this week, I've had my fill of shows trying to do that. Someone on Twitter named upriser7 (a real account incidentally) is spilling secrets about Alicia's home life. Some are lies, and some are truths. Upriser7 accuses Alicia of sleeping with Will to get promoted. That's untrue, but it gets Peter worried. As bad as he is, everyone can change, so we shouldn't jump to condemn him so quickly. He finds condoms in Alicia's drawer and asks her about it. It's a valid question, but Peter might not be the right person to ask. Alicia acts outraged as she should, and doesn't give an answer.

Becca turns out to be upriser7, and Eli Gold tells her to stop. Maybe she will, but Zach goes off to have sex with her. He can't find the condoms in Alicia's drawer, and leaves anyways. Pregnancy scare maybe? Gold did say she'd be pregnant at 17 and get an abortion at 18.

Meanwhile, Alicia gets closer and closer to Will. She works long hours with him, he calls her at odd hours, and from the way they look at each other, they have a spark. The promo for next week's episode is the most revealing of where everything is going.

The case of the week was literally a step up jurisdiction-wise. Will argues the case in federal court, and gets his client off in the end with the help of a drug kingpin. He isn't underneath helping bad people to earn money. Diane's disagrees with his methods, but they agree to look for a third partner in the end.
