Now there's the Glee I'd like watch every week! It has its share of problems--Sam's totally random plot coming out of nowhere, Sue being crazy, Will's woefully incomplete plot--but there was cohesion to the episode (far more than almost all episodes this season), bringing up all the problems that have plagued the club this season and putting them in context of Fleetwood Mac songs.
While everything is fine in the end, fixed by the collective to help Sam, I wonder what would have happened if the glee club had remained fighting at the end of the episode, leading up to nationals. Perhaps there will be more fighting later on, but the tone involved in Sam's plot took out the angst built up in the first part of the episode.
