Brennan and Hannah in the same episode without the tinges of jealously?!? Is this even possible? I guess so.
For the first time, the whole Hannah-Booth-Bones thing was handled without being overly annoying. Instead of doing the usual Bones loves Booth even though he's currently taken, she ends of caring for Booth's overall well-being, asking Hannah to drop her investigation, knowing that Booth would be badly hurt if Hannah was hurt. But at the same time, Bones knows exactly where Hannah is coming from. They're both strong women who won't give up on something they really want, or at least that's what the writers are going for.
However, and this is a big however, Hannah seemed like a huge ditz in the episode. Not to be mean or anything, but her bubbly attitude in light of being shot was pretty stupid and the whole sunglasses thing was like some stereotypical sorority chick thing. And even the way she talked with Booth before getting shot make her seem dumb.
The case itself was predictable with the real murderer shown in the beginning before being absent the rest of the episode and then arrested in the end. As for the forensic work, are those gadgets real? They seemed awfully convenient and futuristic.
