Review - Fringe Season 3 Episode 6 6995 kHz

The sheer ambition of Fringe continues to astonish me. The writers continue to push the boundaries, expanding the mythology to a level that's almost unmatched on television. Unfortunately, the ratings are also floundering which means we may not see a conclusion to this epic journey.

"6995 kHz" opens up a new avenue of thinking, introducing several major, revolutionary concepts. The number stations are codes transmitted by the first people, and when cracked, show where the pieces to Walternate's doomsday device are. The device itself is related to "the vacuum," possibly the force which ties the entire universe together. What does this all mean? Well, both universes are doing their best to figure it out, because it gives them the greatest advantage against the other.

Just as the show is heading in a new direction, Olivia is instructed to initiate Phase 2. It also means that Olivia in the other world has served her purpose.

Score: 9.0/10
