I want to like No Ordinary Family, but I can't help myself from rolling my eyes every few minutes. It's painfully obvious what happens subsequently: the sample ends up in Arizona, Stephanie runs there; Jim tries to block a car, fails initially, but succeeds when it really counts; Daphne thinks Stephanie is talking, but they're communicating telepathically; Jim throws the ball superfast to dunk the guy in the tank. It's like everything is set up so the audience sees it coming and thinks, "That's so cute!" Well, it isn't.
