Once in a blue moon, Glee comes up with a gem, and it's unbelievable that this is a week after last week's Britney episode which had no semblance of plot or theme. "Grilled Cheesus" tackles a subject rife with pitfalls--religion. The episode could have been dripping with condescension, filled with stereotypes, and every other negative imaginable. But it's none of them.
Glee makes no clear missteps (other than, perhaps, Sue's total misuse of the First Amendment, and the fact that Finn never prays for Kurt's dad). It is, after all, a show about acceptance, where people can feel safe and not worry about expressing their opinions. Both sides get their points across and everybody still sings together in the end.
