This week's episode was short on plot and was more like a collection of fun scenes between the characters rather than an entire story. An intruder, who is later revealed to be a hitman, is shot by a bomb tech, who turns out to be going after the criminal who shot her brother. Yeah, she's not a bad person and didn't hurt anyone, so the good guys come out on top.
The subplot revolving around Tony being the poster-boy for NCIS doesn't exactly turn out as he hopes. In the end, it's Gibbs who gets the cover, recognized for his look of integrity and leadership.
