This is what House has come to, a pointless go-cart race that lasts for close to 3 minutes. But when the rest of the episode is a total bore, I guess it's not the worst thing that can happen.
The patient is a writer who wants to die, and the episode descends into talk about novel characters being real people. There's not one interesting moment to be seen,
House and Cuddy have another problem this week, their incompatibility due to differences in interests, but Cuddy gives her speech and it's fine in the end.
The rest of the team sits back and does the usual work. The good news is that they're getting a new female member. Without spoiling anything, she is a well-known actress who's been a star on several shows, so it should spice things up to an extent.
