I was surprised when V reached 5.2 last week, and I was surprised this week it fell all the way down to 3.8. While that is certainly a good number, the huge drop is more telling than the number itself. People watched the pilot for whatever reason and decided not to come back. At least V did better than Dancing with the Stars (3.5) and In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts (2.3).
CBS was back up with NCIS (4.4), NCIS: Los Angeles (3.7), and The Good Wife (2.8). The Good Wife seems to be stabilizing in the 2.6-2.9 range. It's nothing spectacular, especially for CBS standards, so we'll see what happens in the spring.
NBC continues to do well on Tuesday with The Biggest Loser (3.8) and The Jay Leno Show (1.9) which greatly benefits from a high lead-in.
I usually don't cover the CW, but Melrose Place is faltering in the coveted CW demos. Women 18-34 was only at 1.2 while adults 18-49 was at 0.7. 90210 had 2.5 and 1.2 respectively, so it's a huge drop off.
