A team gets stranded on another planet? Hasn't this happened 5 times by now? And the sad part is that the scenarios always resolves themselves with ease and without much happening. OK, so it contributes to the death of Riley, but he was never an important character anyway. The final "cliffhanger" is also pretty stupid. The ship is heading towards an object. Oh wow, that's new!
With a useless plot this week, "Aftermath" was narrowly salvaged by Rush's hallucinations of his wife, and the various scenes with the characters which were surprisingly compelling. You know, if the plots were half decent, I think I could bring myself to say that I like the show.
The thing about Stargate Universe is that it borders precipitously on crap, but has that x-factor which makes it watchable, and it's weird because the writers are exactly the same.
