One of the major problems of Suits is its inability to bridge the gap between Mike's personal life and work life in a meaningful way, and this problem is very evident in "Dog Fight." Stuff is happening, to be sure, but none of it seems to reflect on Mike's character, rather showing us how complicated his life is, which we already new. Yes, Trevor is bad news, Jenny and Rachel put Mike in a difficult position, but so what? Why is this important beyond typical plot machinations?
Meanwhile, Harvey's case is resolved by some simply trickery. There is some minor drama with Donna, then with Louis, but none of it really went anywhere. For a show which has ended so many episodes on a less-than-happy note, the season finale all was pretty convenient.
