TV Guide Magazine reports that the Fringe musical episode will air on April 29. I can understand musical episodes for Lexx, Xena, and Buffy, but Fringe? The show is very serious 99% of the time, and derives most of the tension from the aura of creepiness. Singing doesn't seem to fit in anywhere.
I guess we'll just have to watch and decide for ourselves.
