Review - Criminal Minds Season 6 Episode 4 Compromising Positions

This season hasn't had any serial killers who've been too interesting or scary. For the most part, the unsubs have been on the lower end compared to previous unsubs."Compromising Positions" is no different. It's a solid case in its own rights, with a decent amount of profiling and exploration into the unsub, but at the end of the day, the unsub is guy who forces people to have sex and then shoots them, not fresh or different than a typical episode.

There's also an ongoing subplot with Garcia trying to fill JJ's shoes and struggling greatly (no surprise considering she jumps into the position with hardly any experience). As Morgan tells her, she has to be herself and not JJ, and she pulls through in the end. The compromise with Hotch--splitting the role in half--essentially resets the current situation, so it's doubtful anything will change.

Score: 8.5/10
