Review - Fringe Season 2 Episode 17 Olivia. In the Lab. With the Revolver

I'm not a huge fan of Fringe, but if the series continues the way it has been going, I may well become one by the end of the season. Following the specularly emotional and different "Peter" last week was "Olivia. In the Lab. With the Revolver," a return to the monster of the week with a decent mystery and a tie-in to Olivia's past.

Somehow, people are getting cancer instantly. It seems like James Heath, a cancer patient, is transferring his cancer to others in order to prolong bis own life. As the case progresses, they realize there is a common link between all the victims. They were all at Jacksonville taking the Cortexiphan treatment. Heath attacks Olivia and she manages to knock him into submission. Heath's ability had activated when someone visited him at the hospital. William Bell? He ends up at Massive Dynamic, so Nina Sharp could silence him if she wanted.

There was no way Olivia could put Walter's story behind her. She commits to telling Peter, and comes very close, but Walter pleads with her not to tell him, knowing it will destroy their current relationship. When she visits Nina Sharp, she tells Nina what she knows about Peter, and Nina splits her psyche apart, saying that Olivia went to her to talk herself out of telling Peter. Olivia, too, doesn't want to break the relationship she has with Peter, so she holds back. In the end, Walter realizes that his relationship with Peter is based on lies and a kidnapping. However good they are right now, the truth of what happened is exact opposite. What will Olivia do?

Score: 8.8/10
