Review - FlashForward Season 1 Episode 16 Let No Man Put Asunder

While there isn't anything about FlashForward that excited me anymore, I'll have to give credit where credit is due. For a seemingly run-of-the-mill episode, "Let No Man Put Asunder" was pretty good. The pacing kept me engaged enough so that I wanted to keep watching. The plot, as usual, was stupid, but I go into the episodes expecting that, so I was pleasantly surprised how the episode turned out.

The writers are still blundering around 16 episodes into the season. The episode begins with the interrogation of Marcy, but that story quickly dissipates as she is taken back to the FBI HQ. There was lots of build up to nothing as we see Marcy low on the totem pole even when she starts off. We're supposed to believe that is why she helped she mysterious man, and she is helpful in providing information. Quickly, the episode segues into the agents finding Mark's gun. To make a long and random story short, Dyson Frost ends up kidnapping Demetri using Mark's gun.

Under request from now Vice President Clemente, Wedeck finds Aaron and gets him off to Afghanistan to look into Jericho. At least mindless shooting in Afghanistan would be better than anything the FBI does.

I don't think I need to elaborate on the Olivia and Lloyd junk. Contrived, stupid, illogical...

Score: 8.6/10
