Time to worry about Caprica ratings

Well the ratings for the second episode are in and it isn't pretty: 1.411 million viewers and 0.5 for 18-49. The pilot had 1.6 million viewers and 0.4 for 18-49, so in some respect there was an improvement. I thought there would be a large jump since many had watched it on DVD and online, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Those who already watched the pilot found the best use of two hours watching something they've already seen. More power to them.

As the season progresses, the prognosis on Caprica should be clearer, but based on the two episodes, it isn't doing too hot. The good thing is that the critics love the show and there's still time to attract more fans, so don't panic yet (but feel free to worry).
