Numbers of Interest - Television Ratings for Monday 10/05/09

After an amazing 3.0 for the overnights, Castle came back from the stratosphere to settle in a bland 2.2. DTWS was still down with 3.5.

CBS continued it's dominance with How I Met Your Mother (3.4), Accidentally on Purpose (2.8), Two and a Half Men (4.4), The Big Bang Theory (4.7), and CSI: Miami (3.9). The Big Bang Theory looks like it has a good shot at breaking 5.0, and possibly eclipsing House.

NBC continued is horrible run with Heroes (2.4), Trauma (1.7), and The Jay Leno Show (1.5). Heroes looks like it's in trouble, and could fall below 2.4 by the end of the season. Trauma is dead for sure with the expensive production, and The Jay Leno Show is still stable at 1.5 to 2.0.

Fox did well with House (5.4) and Lie to Me (3.1). Lie to Me isn't retaining much from House and probably wouldn't survive on its own, but I think it will be renewed.

Seems like all of the medical dramas are DOA. I tried "Three Rivers", "Trauma", and "Mercy". All 3 were boring and not worth bothering to tune in for the second episodes.
